My older brother told me once that “Non-Illegitamus Carborundum” was Latin for “Don’t Let the Bastards Wear You Down”. Yep, don’t let ’em know. Instead, “Smile Fierce” and plow ahead. The Tenth Mountain Division in WWII had a saying – “Always Forward”. So, in spite of having a bump in the road, the choice of attitude is still within us. Smile Fierce !!!

Curveballs and Blueberry Pie

Never really liked swinging at curve balls when I was a kid, but always got up to the plate and took my swings. Now I think I’m ready to take a ski run in a few days to Bonnie’s restaurant on Aspen Mountain and have some Blueberry Pie ! Smile FIERCE !!!
